Azerbaijan showcases tourism potential at IMTM 2025 in Israel

Azerbaijan’s tourism offerings are being showcased at the International Mediterranean Tourism Market (IMTM 2025), held in Tel Aviv on May 7–8. The country is represented by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), “Azerbaijan Airlines” (AZAL) CJSC, and 10 local partners.

The exhibition features detailed information on Azerbaijan’s ski resorts, wine tourism, health tourism, and other tourism products. The national stand also highlights the tourism potential of the Karabakh and East Zangazur regions and promotes awareness in line with the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” campaign.

In addition, promotional events were organized on May 5–6 in the cities of Haifa and Tel Aviv.

In B2B sessions, Azerbaijan was represented by 12 local partners, including the ATB, AZAL, and Shahdag Mountain Resort. In Haifa, 40 local tourism representatives attended the meetings, while in Tel Aviv, 65 representatives took part in presentations, media briefings, and networking events.

The event in Tel Aviv was attended by Mukhtar Mammadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Israel, and Peleg Levi, Advisor to the Israeli Minister of Tourism.
